Music program.

Ethan had a music program at school, I was so nervous about it because he has never been apart of something like that before, now that he is mainstreamed kindergarten he is doing a lot of new things, but he is exceding all expectations that anyone had for him. And of courese proved my nerves wrong, He was Amazeing, he new every action to every song didn't miss a beat, by the last song I was holding back tears being so proud of him.

They did wheels on the bus.
Did a little ho down with some line dance

And my favorite one A Whole New World

Ethan and Daisy

Ethan and daisy have become the best of friends
But Daisy still needs some training.

she doesn't like to be locked out of his room,

And is sad when he leaves for school, but is happy when he comes home.

Look Who is 6 Today!

Can this be true? Our little boy is six today!

In the last few years Ethan has overcome so many obstacles.

He is doing really well in school and he is even surpassing the goals that the school has
set for him to the point that they are talking about advancing him to mainstream classes.

His teachers also talked about his great ability to manage a computer at such
an early age and doing great with anything that has to do with technology.

He is a boy full of happiness and energy that never has dull moment.
Jonathan and I are so proud of him and are so blessed to be his parents.

Happy birthday Ethan, we can't wait to see what God has in store for you,
we know that you will do great things one day.

Daisy

Ethan has a new friend...

Meet Daisy.

Just exactly what this little boys needs. When trying to decide on a name for his new little pal, Mommy was ready a list of names out loud.  When she got to, "Daisy", Ethan said, "Stop, her name is Daisy!".

Papa kind of likes her too.

And Ethan is in love.

It seems Daisy is too.

Papa's Washer Project

Papa had a pretty big project going.
The torn down washing machine was of great interest to Ethan.

(along with the big box the part came in!)
The picture is very blurry because it was dark except for one flashlight.
The toys were having a great time in here!

He also needed to "assist" Papa with the fix, and dove right in.
He found the inside workings of a machine to be very, very interesting.

When the work was all done, it was time to relax with a movie.  Puppy, Sheep, Owl, Percy and a new friend, Baby, joined him.  He got them all cozy in the blanket and made sure each one had a cookie.

Ummmm...the cookies were gone before the movie
was over so those "stuffed" friends were hungry!

French Fry Friday

Because Mommy and Daddy both work on French Fry Friday (school word association), Grandpa or Grandma pick Ethan up from the bus.  Today Puppy was along and Ethan thought he should watch out the back window to tell us all what he saw.  You must know that Ethan carries on both sides of this conversation and it is very amusing!  "What do you see puppy?  I see lights.  Oh, that's dangerous."

He is usually a hungry little guy so a "quick" snack is in order some times.
This day is Chick-fil-A.  "Chicken nuggets and lemonade are my favorites!"

He does eat them his own special way...one bite out of each one,
then back around to each nugget until they are gone.

Homework

On another shopping trip with Grandmom, Ethan picked this out:

Then went back to do his "Homework".

And he didn't stop until the whole book was done!

Creepy Crawlers

One day while at Aldi with Grandmom, Ethan saw something that interested him.  When Mommy picked him up and headed home, he wanted to go the other way and tried to explain where to go saying he wanted  'creepy bugs'.  They had to go home, but another day Ethan directed Mommy to Aldi, but they were closed.  And why in the world would he want to go to Aldi for bugs?  Finally on another shopping trip with Grandmom he found what he'd been looking for!
A Creepy Crawlers Bug Maker!

They took it back and opened it up.  Uncle Drew showed up just in time to help.

First you make the bugs.

Then you fill them with goo and squish them!

And since it took so long to track down Ethan's desire, it was half off when purchased!

Two Eyes

On the way home from school, Grandmom adjusted the rear view mirror to see Ethan and ask him about his day.  No sooner was that adjustment made, when a sweet little voice softly said, “I see two eyes,” as he looked into the mirror at Grandmom.  They both giggled!
